Chikungunya Virus IgG Antibody

Chikungunya virus is transmitted by the bite of the mosquito Aedes aegypti. These mosquitoes bite during the day usually just after sunrise & around sunset. Symptoms include fever, bodyache, headache, joint pains & rash. Symptoms generally improve within a week but joint pains can persist for months or years. This test detects the antibodies against the virus.
