Typhidot – Salmonella Typhi IgM & IgG

Typhoid fever is a bacterial infection caused by Salmonella that spreads through contaminated food & drinking water. It can also spread through close contact from one person to another. The disease mainly affects intestinal tract, liver and spleen. Symptoms include fever, headache, stomach pain & upset stomach. Some people recover from the infection but continue to shed bacteria in their stools & become typhoid carriers. This rapid test indicates both recent & past infection.
